Another great day for Millstreet athlete Caoimhe O’ Leary competing at the Munster even age Cross Country competition held in Carrignavar yesterday,
Caoimhe was the 2nd Cork athlete to cross the finish line and finished in 8th position overall.
Well done Caoimhe, who will now go forward as part of the Cork team to compete at National level.
Also competing & putting in strong performances for the club were Orla Buckley GU16, Eimear o Leary GU14, Donal Bourke & Ian Buckley BU14.

Irish Examiner National Dairy Show 2016 Supreme Champion
The Irish Examiner National Dairy Show 2016 Supreme Champion was awarded to Laurelelm Shottel Daffodil owned by Rickey Barrett, Ballinhassig, Cork. Stephen Cadogan, ‘Irish Examiner’ Farming editor, made the presentation at the Green Glens Arena in Millstreet, Co Cork. Also included are, from left: Charlie Gallagher, chief executive of Irish Holstein Friesian Breeders; John Barrett; judge Meurig James; and Carlisle Smith, president of the Cork Holstein Friesian Breeders.
