Superb Danielle Competes in Shot Putt All-Ireland at Athlone
Recently Danielle O’Riordan from Dromsicane, Millstreet competed in Nenagh at the Munster Juveniles Indoors Competition . She came a brilliant second in the Under 12 Girls Shot Putt. This was her first time competing in the Shot Putt and to bring home a Silver Munster Medal was a fantastic achievement . She travelled to Athlone yesterday to compete in the All-Ireland where Danielle is now rated amongst the top eleven in Ireland. Sincere congratulations on such a magnificent achievement and for being such a superb Sporting Ambassador for Millstreet at a hugely prestigious All-Ireland event in the heart of Ireland – Athlone. Danielle’s Mum – Eileen, of course, has won a hugely impressive amount of All-Ireland Sporting Awards over the years. (S.R.)
