Town Park This Weekend
As preparations continue for the much anticipated Vintage Event in Millstreet Town Park in aid of such a praiseworthy cause – on speaking with Denis Hickey today he wished to indicate that while the Pitch would be closed on this coming Saturday and Sunday, the Car Park, Children’s Playground and Pitch-and-Putt Course would remain open. Just one month after the highly successful FEI young riders Championships, which were held here last month, World Class Green Glens/Drishane equestrian complex will resound to the sound of horses again this week, for the Millstreet International Eventing Discovery ,Horse Trials, for 4 to 5 year olds. They will bring competitors from many foreign countries, the show will run from Wednesday August 23 to Sunday August 27th.
All Green Glens services will be up and running, admission is free and there is ample free car parking.
We wish the Duggan Family and their staff every success with this event and hope they get suitable weather.
