Please bring your previously loved clean clothes, linen, curtains, belts, handbags, shoes(paired) in large plastic sacks to the school on or before March 22nd.

No Duvets, Pillows, Cushions, Socks or underwear. Thank you.

The National Council for the Blind of Ireland will benefit from our collection through the resale and recycling of garments collected.

Gaeilge Grinds

Irish grinds available to Junior and Leaving Cert students, excellent notes and sample answers provided as well as individual or group lessons for upcoming written and Scrudú Béil Oral Exam worth 40%, many years teaching and examinations experience. Mock oral Irish exam also available, practice reading the poetry, picture sequences and conversation and be graded afterwards. Students will be taught where marks are lost and where marks can be gained with the aim to increase and maximise their grade in Oral exam. Ring 087 9858133 to arrange an appointment

Danielle and Frank Through to National Finals in Shot Putt

Danielle O’Riordan of Dromsicane, Millstreet  came 3rd in Munster competing the U13 Shot Putt in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary today (Sunday, 25th Feb. 2018). She qualified for the Nationals in Athlone on the 18th March which happens to be Danielle’s birthday!

And her brother Frank will be competing in the U12 Shot Putt Nationals on 25th March in Athlone also.

Sincere congratulations to both Danielle and Frank on such prestigious success and we wish them both every good luck in the National Competitions.  (S.R.)
