Magnificent Open Day at Millstreet Community Hospital on Sunday Afternoon
Sunday, 27th May 2018 marked the wonderfully successful Open Day at St. Joseph’s Millstreet Community Hospital during which Matron Margaret Collins (in red above) and her superb Staff welcomed an enormous assembly of Guests from far and wide including Doctors, Canon John Fitzgerald, P.P., Cllr. John Paul O’Shea, Noel Buckley (Chairman of Millstreet Community Council), former Staff including Matron Lena…and many relatives of Hospital Residents. A magnificent barbeque was provided by Jerry P. and James O’Leary & Staff while delicious baking was enjoyed by all with teas and coffee. Guests were hugely impressed by the guided tour which they received of the Hospital with its most impressive new developments. Here we share some twenty images of the very special occasion with its splendid atmosphere….with more to follow later. Click on the pictures to enlarge. (S.R.)
