In 1953 the location of Scoil Mhuire, Millstreet BNS was on Clara Road opposite to the Presbytery. Death Notice: Paudie O’Keeffe, Cullen Village
The death has occurred on Monday 6th August 2018 of Paudie O’Keeffe, Cullen Village. Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family in Marymount Hospice, brother of the late Tadghie and Liam. Sadly missed by his loving wife Nora, deeply regretted by his his sister Nora Mary, brothers Jeff, Donie and Batt, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Cullen on Tuesday from 5.30pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations to Marymount Hospice. [1]

Jamie wins the U14 All-Ireland Road Bowling Championship
What a fantastic achievement for Jamie Kelleher of Kilcorney, who yesterday won the Under 14 All-Ireland Road Bowling Championships in Tullysaran, Co. Armagh, beating his opponent Nial Stevenson of Armagh by two bowls.
Homecoming for Jamie is tonight (Monday) at 8.30 at Healy’s Bar. All welcome.
