Millstreet Parish Credit Union Magnificent 50th Anniversary Celebrations on Friday Evening
Friday, 10th August 2018 marked the historic 50th Anniversary Celebrations of Millstreet Parish Credit Union. The magnificent occasion began with the celebration of Mass by Fr. Paddy O’Byrne in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet with the participation of many Credit Union Committee Members in the special liturgy enhanced by Millstreet Parish Choir. Dermot Kiely with Ted Kiely then unveiled a very impressive plaque at the Credit Union H.Q. in The Square. Then followed a most enjoyable evening of refreshments, speeches, a special Draw and lots of memories evoked in the Wallis Arms Hotel. We extend sincere congratulations to All who have given so generously of their time, talents and dedication over the past decades where friendliness, support and sound advice have been hallmarks of our very own Millstreet Parish Credit Union. Every success in the years ahead and long may the spirit of Nora Herlihy continue in true evidence. Here we share images from the wonderful occasion on Friday night. (And some more pictures to follow later.) Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)
