Death Notice: Dan Mannix, Clara Road

The death has occurred on Tuesday 4th September 2018 of Daniel Joseph Mannix, 18 Clara Road, Millstreet. Passed away peacefully at Cork University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Bried, dear father to Bridget, John, James, Sean and Daniel brother to Con, Kathleen, Stella and the late John, Matt and Frank. Beloved grandfather of Chanelle, Jack, Kate, Conor, Daniel, Joe, Jack, Ben and greatgranfather to Max. Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Noelle, Collette and Ashley, his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Tarrants Funeral Home, Millstreet, on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Reception into St. Patricks Church, Millstreet on Saturday for 12 noon Mass and burial afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to CUH charity. [1]

Wonderful Variety of Activities on Culture Night 2018 in Millstreet

In addition to these superb activities we also have a special Millstreet  Museum Opening from 5.45pm until 7.00pm with an illustrated talk at 6.15pm.   And at Millstreet Day Care Centre in Clara Road Millstreet Gramophone Circle meets at 8.15pm where over twenty songs and music are shared by the Presenter.   Everyone is most welcome to all activities.   Admission is of course free on this 2018 Culture Night in Millstreet.  (S.R.)

The death has occurred of David (Davie) SHEEHAN, 7 Church View, Dromahane, Cork / Kilcorney, Cork. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of Nazareth House. David (Davie), late of Kilcorney and the Transport Division of Irish Sugar. Beloved husband of the late Eily (nee Canning), brother of the late Matt and Mary, father-in-law of the late Mary, loving father of John, Connie and David and loving brother of Delia. Sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Joan and Martina, grandchildren, Annette, Aileen, Christine, Ellen, David, David and Eimhin, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Lying in Repose in O’Connell’s Funeral Home, Mallow. Rosary on today, Tuesday, at 7.30pm. Reposing on tomorow, Wednesday, from 8.30pm followed by removal at 9 .30pm to St. Peter the Apostle Church, Dromahane. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am. Burial immedately afterwards in St. John’s Cemetery, Glantane. [1]
