Cullen Fashion Show

Update (12th Oct): SOLD OUT – no tickets available at the door.

We have planned a fashion show fundraiser night for the 12th October 2018 to take place in our Community Centre. The beneficiary of this fundraiser will be our local Community Hall and also the Children’s Ward in Cork University Hospital. We are very excited about this event and expect an attendance of 250 on the night. Most of our attendees and models will be from the local region of Duhallow and East Kerry.

Our MC for the night is Helen Murphy of Daily Diva Diary. Helen is a wonderful host and we are looking forward to her sharing her expertise on fashion with us.

We see this as a great opportunity to showcase fashion from some of our local stores and are delighted that Fran & Jane Cork, Scarlett’s Killarney, Philip Lenihan, Newmarket, O’Shea’s, Newmarket, Noirin’s , Millstreet, Lady Lydia, Kanturk along with Luna Bella, O’Flynn Stores, Morgan’s, Profile, Moda, Barry’s Mensware & Fitness Solutions all from Mallow will all join us on the night.

Doors open at 7.15pm for a Cheese & Wine Reception and the show starts at 8pm sharp. For all our fashionistas there will be a great prize for Best Dressed on the night and everyone will receive a goody bag.

It promises to be an excellent evening of fashion and fun. Tickets cost €25 and are available Patsy’s Hair Salon, Cullen Creamery or 087 6127386

We look forward to a really entertaining night and hope everyone will come out to support these two great beneficiaries.

2018 National Dairy Show

          36th National Dairy Show

 to take place
in the Green Glens Arena, Millstreet
on Saturday 20th October
Pictured at the launch of the National Dairy Show being held in Millstreet on Saturday 20th 2018 are Seamus Crowley, Sponsorship Co-Ordinator, John Kirby, Show Director, Minister Michael Creed, Jane O Mahony, Committee Member and Denis Kiely, Committee Member with Isaac & Pippa O’Mahony.

Minister for Agriculture, Food & Marine, Michael Creed, T.D., was on hand recently to launch the 36th National Dairy Show which takes place on Saturday October 20th in the Green Glens Arena, Millstreet.

The Show was first held back in 1982 and since then has steadily grown into Ireland’s premier indoor agricultural event. The word indoor was of huge significance to the Show when in 2017 storm Ophelia failed to upstage the holding of the annual event, and recent events at the National Ploughing Championships, when Storm Ali caused a major disruption, certainly brought home to us the true value and comfort of the Green Glens complex where the Show has been domiciled since its inception.
