The death has occurred on Monday 7th January 2019 of John Carroll, Clara Road, Millstreet. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Millstreet Hospital. Beloved brother of the late Timmy, Dan, Mary and Judy. Deeply regretted by his sisters Kathleen, Crissie and Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives,neighbours and his great friend Ursula and family.
Lying in Repose at Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet on Tuesday, Rosary at 8.30pm. Removal on Wednesday from 6pm to 7.30pm to St Patrick’s Church, Millstreet. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 2pm with burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. [rip]

Ioan Munteanu, of 2 Mill Road in Millstreet in Co Cork, was convicted of rape in Manchester Crown Court on June 25, 2004 and sentenced to six years in prison.
