UP THE HILL FOR JACK AND JILL

  A fundraising charity walk will take place for The Jack & Jill Children’s foundation from The Clonakilty Park Hotel, Clonakilty, West Cork on Sunday 29th at 11.00 am.

Jack & Jill provides home nursing and in home nursing respite care for seriously ill children and vital support for their parents and families.  Jack & Jill if a voluntary organisation than relies 100% on the support of individual donors and corporate sponsorship.

Cork Young Filmmakers

Cork Young Filmmakers coordinate a countywide film-making programme for young people in Cork. We have some received funding for four one-day film-making workshops from Cork County Council which are to be used in partnership with Youth Clubs or groups, young people age 14-19. Millstreet Vintage Club Presentation to Millstreet Pipe Band

Millstreet Vintage Club made a Presentation to Millstreet Pipe Band of €500 which was the Proceeds of the recent Tractor Run the Club ran out of Aubane. The Presentation took place last Friday night following the Pipe Band’s performance at the Millstreet Culture Night Event. Pipe Major Brendan O’Sullivan and Band Member Marie Twomey accepted the Cheque from Club PRO Bernard Crowley and Club Treasurer Myra Sheehan.
