Millstreet Museum’s 40th Anniversary Today

It’s exactly 40 years to the very day when on St. Patrick’s Day 1980 Pádraig Ó Maidín, Cork Co. Librarian officially opened Millstreet Museum at the Carnegie Hall in the presence of the “Millstreet Rovers Band” and a very large attendance.   To celebrate this very special 40th Anniversary we take you on a Virtual Tour of the present Museum featuring some 13 images.   Sincere thanks to the very many people who have been hugely supportive of our Museum work over the past 40 years.   Míle buíochas.   Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh go léir.   Tap on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)
