“Where the Road Takes Me” at 7pm this Sunday on C103

We thank Presenter, John Greene for advance information on this Sunday evening’s programme – 22nd Nov. 2020 at 7pm on C103.  (S.R.)

Saturday November 28th next is the centenary of the Kilmichael Ambush, an event that would prove to be not only militarily significant, but historically as well.

Where the road takes me remembers the event as John Greene is joined by Historian and author Meda Ryan and Joe Creedon from Inchigeelagh.

Local filmaker Brendan Hayes from Dunmanway talks about his documentary –  ‘Here’s to the Boys – Kilmichael – One hundred years later’.

Because of Covid 19, Brendan has had to scupper his plans to Launch and show the documentary to the public on the weekend of the centenary.  It will be shown at a later and appropriate date.  [read more …] ““Where the Road Takes Me” at 7pm this Sunday on C103″
