Query Regarding Irish Ancestry

Greetings from New Zealand….
I’m searching for the parents of Denis Murphy, possibly born 22 October 1922 in County Cork. Marriage certificate has his birth year as 1926 and father as Patrick Murphy, but these may not be accurate. Denis married in England in 1966, and didn’t discuss his family back in Ireland. His children are curious about who their grandparents were and where their father was from.
Using DNA from Denis Murphy’s children it’s possible that Denis was descended from Patrick O’Sullivan (born about 1818, died 18 Dec 1898 Tooreenclassagh) and Hanora O’Keeffe (baptised 20 Jan 1854 Rathmore, died 30 Dec 1930 according to a headstone at Christ the King Church Cemetery, Knocknagree).
Another couple that it seems likely that Denis is descended from is Jeremiah Murphy (born about 1826, died 21 Mar 1907 Knocknashannagh) and Johanna Guerin (born about 1840, died 12 Mar 1905 Knocknashannagh).
Most of their DNA matches have family trees that lead back to the area between Millstreet, Rathmore and Ballydesmond.
I’m researching this from New Zealand and while there are many resources online, some local help would be appreciated! If anyone can give me some clues as to the parents of Denis Murphy I can be reached on the following email address: a.wilson2017 @outlook.co.nz
Kind regards,
Abbey Wilson

Millstreet Community School “Lockdown Live” Presentation

Recently a most impressive “Lockdown Live” presentation was held on Zoom during which many very talented Students of Millstreet Community School participated in a most enjoyable Show displaying a magnificent range of talent in the world of music, song, outdoor games and novelty acts.   It was introduced by Principal, Pól Ó Síodhcháin with members of Staff commenting and judging the various performances.   The music and singing was excellent as well as the outdoor sports while one Student presented a superb ability to solve a Rubik Cube puzzle in record time and another Student proved the true magic of music from a tin whistle.   It is hoped to have a further presentation in time to come.   Well, well done to All who participated.  Check out full details of MCS Updates on https://www.millstreetcommunityschool.ie/
