MURPHY, Timothy, 92 – Of Somerville, formerly of Millstreet, County Cork, Ireland passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on March 22, 2021.
Beloved husband of 67 years to Betty (Davenport) Murphy. Loving son of the late Ellen (Corkery, Dooneen) and Denis Murphy, Claramore. Devoted father of Dennis J. and his companion Rosanne McNamara, Timothy P. and his companion Barbara Moloney all of Somerville, Kevin F. and his wife Kathy of Arlington, Thomas J. and his wife Kathy of Wolfeboro, NH, John J. and his wife Carrie of Arlington, Eileen Murphy and her husband Bruce Morrill, Maureen M. The death has occurred of Ben O’Riordan, Cullen, Cork. On March 27th 2021, peacefully at his home, beloved son of the late Dan Joe and Hannah, loving brother of the late Maura, D.B. and Andrew. Sadly missed by his nephew Eamon Tarrant, nieces Eilish Twohig, Anne O’Sullivan and Mary Byrne, sister-in-law Josie, relatives, his many kind and wonderful friends and neighbours.
Due to current government guidelines a private family funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Cullen at 12 noon followed by private burial in the adjoining cemetery. [rip]
