On the First Anniversary of John’s death, Kathleen and family wish to express our gratitude to everyone for the great kindness and support shown to us following our sad loss. Thank you for your letters, Mass cards, phone calls, floral tributes and online condolences. To those who provided food and helped in so many ways, it was much appreciated. We extend our appreciation to our relatives, neighbours and friends who lined the route of the funeral cortege. Thanks to St John’s GAA, Aubane Social Club and the St John’s Well Committee for their guard of honour. The kindness and support shown by our dear friends and relatives meant so much to us. We sincerely thank the wonderful paramedics who attended to John and extend our deep appreciation for their immense effort.
A special thanks to Millstreet Gardaí for their assistance. We wish to thank Fr. James McSweeney who celebrated the funeral Mass along with Fr. John Fitzgerald PP, and Fr. Declan O’Connor who concelebrated the Mass. Thanks to Seán Radley who recorded the Mass. Thank you to Annmarie O’Riordan and Anthony Holmes for the beautiful singing and music at John’s Mass.
Thanks also to Sharon Lane, Parish Secretary and Julie Brady, Sacristan for their support and assistance. A special thank you to Tarrant’s Funeral Directors and Cora O’Riordan for their help, kindness, sensitivity, and professionalism with the funeral arrangements.

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
