Where The Road Takes Me – Sunday 31st Oct.

The history of brewing in Cork is a two part programme which concludes this Sunday evening at 7 on C103.

There is particular emphasis on Beamish and Crawford, a brewery that John Greene discovers was a plucky underdog, rather than a serious contender.

Coming up this week…………. 

Alcohol abuse at the beginning of the 20th century – a time to decrease its strength.

Beamish and Crawford are forced to deal with the problems associated with two World Wars, a War of Independence and a Civil War.

and…..
