Coffee morning in Dromtarriffe Parish Hall

Huge thank you to everyone who supported the coffee morning today in Dromtarriffee Parish Hall,  such a generous response with baking donations  and an amazing collection of money for the Irish Red Cross going directly towards the Ukraine Crisis.
Great credit is due to everyone’s community spirit which resulted in an excess of €8,000 raised.
A meeting is being organised with an Irish Red Cross Officer to close the fundraiser. Further details to follow.
Thanks again for everyone’s help and support!!

Thank you from Gobnait Twomey and family

Gobnait Twomey and family wish to thank all her kind relatives, home carers, neighbours and friends who made her 100th birthday such a memorable event.

Thanks for the many presents, flowers, mass cards and good wishes both in cards and online and of course the numerous scratch cards, the many visitors, old friends and new to her home which she really enjoyed and made her day so special.

A sincere and special thanks to Canon John Fitzgerald for his lovely blessing and deputising for Michael D on the day and to our photographer supreme Seán Radley who ensured the day was recorded for posterity.  Thanks to John Tarrant and The Corkman for highlighting the event.

We would like to take this occasion to wish Seán a speedy recovery and know he will be back with his friends in Millstreet very soon.

A Mass will be offered for all your intentions.  Míle Buíochas to all who made Gobnait’s 100th birthday so special.
