Cork Walking Month 2022
Millstreet has been included in a number of Active Community Walking Programmes kicking off across Cork communities during May. The Get Ireland Walking Active Community Walking Programme runs for 8 weeks and aims to support the creation of vibrant walking communities throughout Ireland.
The programme facilitator will work with communities to increase the capacity and potential of people to become more active through walking. The programme places an emphasis on sustainability so members are given the skills to continue coordinating their walking group after our qualified facilitator steps away after 8 weeks! The group walks will hopefully take place on the same day and time each week for the 8 weeks, but this is subject to discussion with your walking facilitator. The exact meeting locations will be sent to you in an introductory email before the start of the programme.

Millstreet Meals on Wheels service
The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.
A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

Tractor Run in Aid of Millstreet Website and Millstreet Museum happening on Sunday May 8th
Millstreet Vintage Club are holding a Tractor Run on Sunday May 8th Starting and Finishing in Millstreet Town,a Scenic Route is Planned to go in a direction West of the Town,the Run is in Aid of both Millstreet Museum and The Millstreet Website which are two very important Services to both the Millstreet Locality and the Wider Surrounding Area.
