Donal Moynihan, Gort na Scairte, Cúil Aodha

The death has occurred of Donal Moynihan, Gort na Scairte, Cúil Aodha, Co. Cork.

On October 29th, 2022, peacefully, surrounded by family, Donal, former T.D. and County Councillor, beloved husband of Catherine (née Twomey), loving father of Mairéad, Séamus, Aindrias, Nóra, Pádraig (Glanworth), Donal, Máire, Gobnait, and the late Treasa, brother of the late Máire, Con, Peig, Nóra, and Eibhlín. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace

Reception into Cúil Aodha Church on Sunday evening at 5.00pm, where Donal will repose until prayers at 8.00pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 12.00 noon. Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait’s Cemetery, Ballyvourney.

Cúis mór bhróin dá bhean chéile grámhar, a chlann mhac agus a iníonacha, a gcéilí siúd, a gharr-chlann, deartháiracha agus deirfiúracha a chéile, a neachtanna agus a nianna, gaolta, cómharsain agus ana chuid cáirde.

Suaimhneas síorraí dá anam dílis.

Beidh fáiltiú roimh a thaisí i Séipéal Chúil Aodha ar an nDomhnach an 30ú ar a cúig a chlog sa tráthnóna agus paidreacha ar a 8.i.n.

Aifreann na marbh ar an Luan ag Méan Lae (12 a chlog). Sochraid ina dhiaidh san go Reilig Ghobnatan, Baile Mhúirne.
