Millstreet Day Care Centre

The staff & management of Millstreet Day Centre would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas & New Year for 2023!

To everyone who supports the Day Centre either by volunteering their time, clients attending the Centre, everyone who supported our raffle & Christmas Arts & Crafts Showcase, everyone who has donated money or gifts, our drivers – collecting clients & delivering Meals on Wheels – thank you all for your continued support in 2022, it is HUGELY appreciated.

Millstreet Meals on Wheels service

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

 A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

Millstreet Library

Millstreet Library Age Friendly Group will meet tomorrow Friday 23rd December in Millstreet Library at 11 00 am (on a week earlier this month).  Everybody is welcome.  It is a lovely casual informal meeting where people can drop into the library for a chat, play a game of cards/do a crossword puzzle. This week people may even chat about Christmas traditions/reminisce about old times.
