Millstreet Meals on Wheels

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

 A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

Geraldine Murphy, Lisnaboy, Cullen

The death has occurred of Geraldine Murphy, Lisnaboy, Cullen, Co. Cork.

Lisnaboy, Cullen, Mallow, Co. Cork. On January 3rd 2023, suddenly and peacefully at her home. Predeceased by her parents John J Murphy and Peg, brother Seán and nephew James. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Maryb, Jim, Finbarr, Donal, Esther, Bert, Kevin and Theresa, sisters in law Judy, Kay, Mary, Eileen, Ursula and Colette, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet on Thursday, 5th January, from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, 6th of January, at 2pm in the Church of the Nativity, Cullen, burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Condolences link is HERE.
