The Barry Historical Museum in Lackabawn will be opened to the Public on Tommorrow Sunday for the John Barry Memorial Tractor Run in aid of The Mercy Hospital Foundation

The inaugural Millstreet Vintage Club John Barry Memorial Tractor Run is happening Tommorrow Sunday May 7th, both the General Public and Vintage lovers alike are very welcome to attend the Event and visit the Barry Museum in Lackabawn in Millstreet which will be Open to the Public on the day.

The Museum is full of some lovely displays of Vintage Gems and allows a person to go back in time and rekindle what life was like in years gone by.

The late John was a founding member of Millstreet Vintage Club and there was hardly a vintage event held in the South West Region that John wasn’t present, his enthusiasm so evident for so many wonderful machines and contraptions
that helped John develop an indoor and outdoor museum at his home in Lackabawn that told the story of life in bygone days featuring rural life and farming in county.

So why not pop by to Lackabawn Tommorrow  to take a look at some nice Vintage Tractors and Machinery with something for Everyone on display and at the same time supporting a great Cause too with Proceeds from the Event going to The Mercy Hospital Foundation.

A nice Scenic Route has been the planned with Sign On from 10.30am with Take Off at 12 Noon from the Barry Historical Museum Lackabawn Millstreet  Eircode (P51 EY91)

All Vintage Classic and Modern Tractors very Welcome, Entry Fee €20

Further details on the event can be obtained from Dan Barry on 087-2680011.
