Millstreet Meals on Wheels

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

 A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

As we lovingly remember Jack on his first anniversary, his wife Maureen, son Michael and family would like to thank all our relatives, friends and neighbours who have sympathised with us on our sad loss. Sincere thanks to all who attended the Removal, Funeral Mass and Burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and those who travelled long distances.

To Canon John Fitzgerald and Fr. Paddy Byrne for making Jack’s Mass so special. Also thanks to Jerry Doody and Margaret Dennehy for the beautiful singing and music. Many thanks to Davy, Cora and Declan of Tarrant’s Funeral Home for their guidance and professionalism.

A special thanks to the staff and management of Boherbue Nursing Home for the wonderful care, kindness and respect Jack received.
