The death has occurred of Mary Creedon (née O’Kelly), Knockcahill, Rathcoole, Cork, P51 CPT6

Creedon (Rathcoole) on August 29th 2023, unexpectedly but peacefully at home in Knockcahill (P51 CPT6) surrounded by her family, Mary (née O’Kelly, Broadford) beloved wife of the late Dan Joe and dear mother of Eileen (O’Riordan), Mary Teresa (Fehin) and sister of Hannah (Doyle) and the late Michael and Garry.  Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons in law Humphrey and Vincent, grandchildren John Joe and his wife Sarah, Annmarie and her husband Anthony, Clare and MaryKate, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence. Rosary on Thursday at 8:00pm. Reposing Friday from 6:00pm followed by prayers at 8:00pm. Reception into St. John’s Church, Dromagh on Saturday at 11:30am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. . Millstreet Meals on Wheels service

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

 A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

Tommy Tucker, Ballydaly, Millstreet

The death has occurred of Tommy Tucker, Ballydaly, Millstreet, Co. Cork.

On the 29th August 2023 in the devoted care of staff of Araglen Nursing Home, Boherbue, Co.Cork. Predeceased  by his parents Denis and Nora Tucker and his brothers Eddie, Donal and sister Eileen and nephew Stephen.

Beloved brother of Fr. Seán, Denis (Dublin) and Noreen (Beaufort), his sisters in law Estelle and Eileen. Deeply regretted by his nephews and nieces, many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home on Thursday, 31st August, 6pm-8pm, followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am followed by burial after in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet.
