Millstreet GAA Annual Golf Presentation Tonight

MILLSTREET GAA ANNUAL GOLF PRESENTATION NIGHT

On 1st September, Millstreet GAA Club, hosted a very successful and enjoyable Golf Classic in Killarney. The day was a tremendous success and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported the day. We sincerely appreciate the support of our main sponsors on the day, Cloverhill Food Ingredients, Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Coleman’s Millstreet, The Bush Bar, Hickey Motors and McCauls of Millstreet, together with those who sponsored Tee Boxes, Greens and entered teams.
On next Friday night, 29th September, we will host a presentation night for the winning teams and we extend an invite to join us in The Bush Bar at 9.00p.m. “The Brian McSweeney Perpetual Cup” will be presented to the winning team of John Murphy, Seán Goulding and Donagh Hickey by Kevin McSweeney.  We hope you can join us.

Martin Goggin, Millstreet & COPE Foundation, Mallow

The death has occurred of Martin Goggin, Millstreet, Co. Cork.

Millstreet & COPE Foundation, Mallow. On the 27th September 2023, Martin passed away peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, in the exceptional care of Dr. Bertie Daly and all the staff at Glenlodge, Mallow. Predeceased by his loving parents Richard and Mary Goggin and his grand-niece, Emma O’Sullivan. He will be sadly missed and forever lovingly remembered by his sisters Tessie (Dennehy, Derinagree), Geraldine (Curtin, Drishane) and Anne (O’Sullivan, Lackabawn), his brothers-in-law Pat, Derry and Tadgh, his nieces and nephews Maria, Declan, Majella, Kieran, Sinéad, Colm, Patrick, David, Caroline, Gerard, Miriam & Tadgh, their partners and families, his special friends and staff of COPE Foundation Mallow, kind neighbours, relatives and friends. 

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet from 5.30pm to 7pm on Friday, 29th September. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 30th September, at 11am, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on  http://www.churchservices.tv/millstreet
