(1st Anniversary Mass is in the Church of the Nativity, Cullen on 12th Nov at 9.30 am)

On Geff’s First Anniversary, we his family would like to thank our relatives, neighbours and friends who sympathised with us at the time of his passing, those who sent mass cards and flowers and those who travelled to be with us.  We would also like to thank those who spent time with Dad during his final months, your visits were very much appreciated.

Thanks to Canon John, Sharon Lane, Joan O’Donoghue & Mary Hickey for their co operation & assistance with Geff’s Funeral Mass. Thanks to Tarrant’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you to the Cullen Ballad Group for the beautiful church music and Seamus Fleming who played the pipes to the graveside. Thanks to Cullen GAA Club who helped with traffic management during Geff’s Funeral and The Cullen Community Centre volunteers who prepared the hall for the reception.

We would like to thank Dads home help, Mary O’Neill & Marie Murphy as well as his doctors at Millstreet Medical Centre and the CUH and the staff at Reen’s Pharmacy.  To the staff at Araglen Nursing Home  Boherbue, thank you for taking such wonderful care of Dad in his final months.

Corneilus (Connie) O’Keeffe, Du-con Road, Millstreet

The death has occurred of Corneilus (Connie) O’Keeffe, Du-con Road, Millstreet, Co. Cork.

 (Du-con Road, Millstreet Town, County Cork) On the 6th November 2023, Corneilus (Connie) O’Keeffe passed away peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Millstreet Community Hospital. Predeceased by his adored wife Nono (née Brosnan). Deeply regretted by his children Hugh, Nora, Mairéad, Siobhán and Fiona, son in law Leo, partners, thirteen grand-children, extended family, relatives and many friends. 

Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet, on Thursday, 9th November, from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet. Requiem Mass on Friday, 10th November, at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet.
