Millstreet Meals on Wheels

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

 A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

Millstreet Day Centre will be having a Arts & Crafts Showcase in the Centre
on Sunday 3rd December @ 12.15pm – 2.00pm.
Pop along for a festive coffee & mince pie & see what the clients of the Day Centre have been busy creating over the past few months.
There will be some items available to purchase on the day also!
Any proceeds made/donations will go directly to Millstreet Day Centre. All welcome to attend!

Who died on November 9th, 2022
On this her first anniversary, Eileen’s family would sincerely like to thank everyone who offered condolences, sent mass cards, attended the funeral and helped in any way.
Many thanks to her wonderful neighbours, friends and extended family and all who supported us.
Thanks to Canon John Fitzgerald, Sharon Lane and Julie for their support. Thanks also to Davy Tarrant, Declan and Cora for their professionalism.
A special word of thanks to the Matron, staff and Dr Christine at Millstreet Community Hospital, where she was so well cared for during the last 2 years of her life. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr Michael Casey, the late Dr Patrick Casey, Frank and Mairead Reen, Nurse Maureen Murphy, the staff at Millstreet Day Centre and Eileen’s carers.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Anniversary Mass for Eileen will take place in St Patrick’s Church, Millstreet at 6.15 pm, Saturday 11th of November 2023.
