Mary O’ Sullivan from Laharn wants to inform everyone that
Laharn Cross was filmed last summer by RTE’s Nationwide,
which includes lots of interviews of local people
and footage of the open air dancing.
This episode of Nationwide is to air
on Monday, 29th January 2024
at 7pm.
Millstreet Camogie Club will be having their annual church gate collections to fundraise for the club
on Saturday evening at 6:15pm mass and Sunday morning at 11:30am mass at Millstreet Church.
We will also be collecting outside Ballydaly church at Sunday morning 9.30am mass.
The Club would be so greatful of all the support that you can give during these collections.
Unfortunately we are not set up yet for card payments so it will be cash donations that we can accept only.

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.
A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.
