Millstreet Meals on Wheels Service

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for the elderly & isolated in the Millstreet catchment area. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

 A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

David (Davy) Condon, Rathcoole

The death has occurred of David (Davy) Condon, Rathcoole, Co. Cork.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Davy on the 2nd of February 2024.

Dearly beloved husband of Mary (née O’Brien) and adored father to Dylan, Dean, Stephen, much loved brother to Gillian and Kerry, grandchildren Hayley and Adeline.  Son of the late David and Nora Condon.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, children, sisters, grandchildren, mother-in-law Kathleen O’Brien, brothers-in-law Conor, Denis, Paul, Ray, sisters-in-law Caroline, Elaine, Breda, Eileen, daughter-in-law to be Ciara, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May He Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home in Rathcoole (P51EY9A) from 5pm to 8pm on Tuesday 6th February and Wednesday 7th February. Funeral cortege departing his residence at 10am Thursday 8th February, arriving to St. John’s Church, Dromagh (P51W983) for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet.

House is strictly private Monday 5th February 2024.
