Winners of Glen Rovers Golf Classic which took place in Fermoy Golf Club on Friday, 5th July 2024. The Presentation of the Prizes was held on this Saturday night. Sincere congratulations to the Millstreet Golfers on such a prestigious win.
The death has occurred of Noreen Murphy (née Forde), Murphy’s Terrace, Millstreet, Co. Cork / Ballyvourney, Co. Cork.
On July 5th 2024, she peacefully drifted away, surrounded by her loving family at home. Noreen, predeceased by her sister Kathleen and brother-in-law Tim. Sadly missed by her devoted, loving husband Mick, sons Jerh and Mike, daughters Joanne, Tina, Noreen and Caroline, daughters-in-law Joanne and Maria, sons-in-law Billy and Finbarr, sister Maura, nieces, and nephews, her 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, relatives, amazing neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home Millstreet on Sunday, 7th of July, from 6pm to 7.30pm, followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet. Requiem Mass on Monday, 8th of July, at 12 midday, followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/millstreet
Expression of gratitude to the many kind community services involved in Noreen’s care: Home helps: Marie and Margaret, Alzheimer’s society: Hilary. Michelle and Deirdre. Millstreet Day Centre, Marymount Hospice and the wonderful Daffodil Nurses, Dr. Christine, our local community nurses and pharmacist Tom Mulcahy, to name but a few.

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Moynihan, Snugboro, Killarney Road, Millstreet, Co. Cork.
Passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Araglen House, Boherbue, Co. Cork. Beloved husband of Margaret (née Corkery) loving father to Niall and Pat and adoring grandfather to Conor. Predeceased by his parents Corneilius and Kathleen , his brothers James Larry and Brendan and his sisters Nan and Betsy. Sadly missed by his sisters Sr. Mary and Kathleen and his brother Miah, his nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
