        Acknowledgment & First Anniversary

As we fondly remember Donal on his First Anniversary, we his family wish to acknowledge the overwhelming kindness and support shown to us by everyone during our sad loss, for the many mass cards received, all who brought floral tributes and the many beautiful condolence messages on R.I.P.ie, to those who travelled long distances and all who attended the rosary and funeral mass.

A special word of thanks to our very kind neighbours, good friends family & extended family. To all who brought food to our home and helped out with the catering.

Our sincere thank you to the following, Dr. Christine Walsh McCarthy and all the staff at Millstreet Medical Centre,  Reens Pharmacy Millstreet. To all the staff on 4D & 3B of CUH who cared for Donal with great compassion & empathy, to Public Health nurses, Community Nurses, Marymount Hospice, Homeinstead Carers especially Donal’s good friend Nadeem.

Sincere gratitude to all involved in Donal’s funeral. To Collins Army Barricks Cork for giving Donal the send off he truly deserved. To Garda Kevin O’ Dwyer for escorting Donal to his final resting place. To Davy, Cora, Declan & Martina of Tarrants Funeral Directors for their outstanding professionalism, help, advice and great support at such a difficult time. To Jerry Doody, Margaret Kiely and Hannah Mary Tarrant for the beautiful music at mass. To all those who directed traffic. To Millstreet Gun Club & Kanturk Golf Club for your very thoughtful guard of honour. To Fr Tom Leane for calling to our home. To Connie Hickey and all the staff at The Bush Bar Millstreet for providing the refreshments after mass. To Evelyn O Sullivan parish secretary for all her help and advice. A special thank you to Fr Jim Kennelly for celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass. To Canon John Fitzgerald for assisting at the graveside.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The holy sacrifice of Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Donal’s First Anniversary mass will be held in Derrinagree Church on Saturday the 21st of September at 7:30pm.

We miss your smiles, your joking ways,

We miss the things you used to say.

And when old times we do recall,

It’s then we miss you most of all.

Too dearly loved to be forgotten…

May Donal’s gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Poland is Fighting Against Floods

As many of you already know, there is a flood in Southern part of Poland, including my hometown Nysa.
If you would like to help, you may trust them 👇 and click the link below:

You can also help by visiting these places next year on a visit to Poland. These are beautiful touristic places, well, at least they were, but hopefully next year all would be back to normal. Not without our help though.

Thank you ❤️
