Acknowledgement and First AnniversaryIn Loving Memory of Michael Twomey who died on 15^th June 2023.

As we lovingly remember Michael on his first anniversary, we his family would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us, those who attended the funeral, those who sent Mass cards, and all those who supported us in our sad loss.

We would like to thank Fr. William Winter and Fr. Dan O’Connor for celebrating the Funeral Mass, Margaret Browne for her help and guidance and to those who participated in the choir.

 We would like to thank Davy Tarrant, Cora O’Riordan and Declan Brady for their kindness and professionalism.

We sincerely appreciate the great care he received from his home help Breeda Moynihan.

We were very humbled by our neighbours and friends, and we express our sincere heartfelt gratitude to them.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. The First Anniversary Mass will be held in St. Nicolas Church, Kilcorney on Sunday 14^th July 2024 at 10am.

who died on 8^th March 2023.

As we lovingly remember Mary on her first anniversary, we, her family, would like to express our deep gratitude to all those who supported and sympathised with us on our sad loss.

A special word of thanks to everyone who called to our home, brought food, attended the rosary, removal, Requiem Mass, graveyard, travelled long distances to be with us as well as those who joined the Mass online. Our sincere thank you to all who offered condolences, sent Mass cards, perpetual enrolments, letters of sympathy, phone calls, text messages, floral tributes and expressed condolences online. We are especially grateful to our wonderful neighbours and friends for all their help and support.

Sincere thanks to Canon John Fitzgerald, Fr Danny Broderick, Fr Pat Mc Carthy, Deacon Thady O’ Connor, Sr Peter, Sr David, Sharon Lane and Julie Brady for their kindness and support during this difficult time.

We wish to thank Jerry Doody and organist Kathleen O’ Connor for providing beautiful music during the Mass.

We also wish to thank Tarrant’s Funeral Directors, Davy Tarrant, Declan Brady and Cora O’ Riordan for their kindness and professionalism.

Our sincere gratitude to Dr Michael Casey and all the staff at Tullig Medical centre, Frank and Mairead Reen and all the staff at Reen’s Pharmacy for their excellent care shown to Mary.

On Geff’s First Anniversary, we his family would like to thank our relatives, neighbours and friends who sympathised with us at the time of his passing, those who sent mass cards and flowers and those who travelled to be with us.  We would also like to thank those who spent time with Dad during his final months, your visits were very much appreciated.

Thanks to Canon John, Sharon Lane, Joan O’Donoghue & Mary Hickey for their co operation & assistance with Geff’s Funeral Mass. Thanks to Tarrant’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and kindness. Thank you to the Cullen Ballad Group for the beautiful church music and Seamus Fleming who played the pipes to the graveside. Thanks to Cullen GAA Club who helped with traffic management during Geff’s Funeral and The Cullen Community Centre volunteers who prepared the hall for the reception.

We would like to thank Dads home help, Mary O’Neill & Marie Murphy as well as his doctors at Millstreet Medical Centre and the CUH and the staff at Reen’s Pharmacy.  To the staff at Araglen Nursing Home  Boherbue, thank you for taking such wonderful care of Dad in his final months.

Acknowledgement and First Anniversary

On Gretta’s first anniversary Denis, Anna Rose, Sean, Aaron, the O’Sullivan and Healy families would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us and who attended the house and funeral Mass.

We would like to thank Fr Martin, Fr Kevin and Canon John Fitzgerald who celebrated the Mass.  We also would like to thank Canon John for calling to Gretta during her last weeks at home.

Thank you to Sharon Lane in the Parish Centre and to Julie in the Church.

Thank you to Davy, Cora and Declan of Tarrant’s Funeral for all their help.

Thank you to everyone who managed the traffic at the house and everyone who served tea and brought food.

A special thank you to the Killarney Gospel choir who sang at her mass in which she was a member.

Thank you to Mags Allen, the doctors and nurses in Cork University Hospital.

Anniversary Mass for Gretta will take place in St Patrick’s Church, Millstreet at 6.15 pm, Saturday 21^st October 2023.

On Pat’s First Anniversary Mary, Maria, Con and Patrick would like to thank all our relatives and friends who sympathised with us on Pat’s passing. We offer our thanks to all who attended the removal and funeral Mass, those who sent Mass cards and those who travelled long distances. A special thanks to our exceptional family, friends and neighbours who supported us through everything. We would like to thank Canon John  Fitzgerald and also Sharon Lane in the Parish Centre. Thanks to Davy, Cora and Declan of Tarrant’s Funeral Home for their guidance and professionalism. To Siobhán Forde for the beautiful music in the Church. On this the first anniversary of Paul’s passing, we his relatives wish to acknowledge and thank most sincerely all those who helped and supported us during this difficult time. We would like to thank those who cared for Paul while he was a resident in Mount Alvernia Hospital, Mallow, and who treated Paul wish such respect and dignity during his time there.  

We would like to thank those who attended his funeral, those who sent Mass cards, flowers, posted condolences on RIP.ie and supported us in any way.  

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all involved in Paul’s funeral, especially Canon John Fitzgerald, who celebrated Paul’s funeral Mass, Sharon Lane for organising the prayers, Joan O’Donoghue for organising the church, Gerry Doody for the lovely singing and Sheila McSweeney for the lovely music, and a special thanks to Tarrant’s funeral directors for their kindness and professionalism.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as our sincere appreciation for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

Who died on December 2^nd, 2021

As we fondly remember our brother Eddie on his first anniversary, we and all family members wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us during our sad loss.

The many Mass Cards received and the many condolence messages on R.I.P., those who travelled long distances to attend his funeral, and those who gathered outside Millstreet Church to say goodbye.

Our sincere thank you to the following:

Dr. Derek Power (Consultant Oncologist) and his oncology team at the Mercy Hospital, Cork;  All staff at Lee Clinic where Eddie received his chemotherapy treatment;  Dr. Mulcahy (G.P.) and staff at Harbours Brink Medical Centre, Lower Aghada, Midleton;  All staff at Aghada Pharmacy;  Public Health Nurses, Dieticians, Physiotherapists, palliative care team and home helps;  Doctors and nurses at Marymount Hospice, who cared for Eddie during his final days;  Fr. Danny Murphy (Parish Priest Aghada) who visited and administered Holy Communion to Eddie in his own home;  Irish Cancer Society Volunteer Drivers who took Eddie to his chemotherapy treatments. A special mention to Pat O’Regan;  To his very special friends in Whitegate who truly cared for him during his cancer journey – Anne Sweeney, Tony Cotter, Martin Murray, Yvonne (home help) and Caroline Colbert and all his many neighbours and friends in Whitegate, Millstreet, Ballydaly and surrounding areas.

Special thanks to Canon Jack Fitzgerald for his beautiful funeral Mass and for his touching words of comfort, and to assisting Priests;  to Sharon Lane for her guidance and support, also to sacristan Julie Brady;  to Jerry Doody and organist, Edel Fraser, who together and so movingly sang and played Eddie’s chosen hymns;  to Davy Tarrant and Cora for their kindness, sensitivity and professionalism with funeral arrangements;  to the staff of Wallis Arms Hotel for serving refreshments following his funeral.

The gates of memory will never close

We miss you more than anyone knows

With tender love and deep regret

We who love you will never forget.
