Monday (8/7/2024) was newly appointed Transport & Communications Minister of State James Lawless first official visit anywhere and he was in Millstreet and Macroom in the morning. He had chance to discuss train service locally with Station Master Michael Mullane and local TD Aindrias Moynihan and see first hand the way the trains service is in use. We also discussed upgrade needs and plans for the train service.
