Postman Supreme Noel Keating was very especially honoured at Aubane Community Centre on Friday night, 24th Feb. 2017 following his recent retirement from his many years of dedicated service in An Post to the people of Aubane and far beyond.  Here we share images from the wonderfully uplifting occasion.  (S.R.)

Defibrillator Course on Sat. 13 Feb. in Aubane – Two Places Still Left

John F. Kelleher, Aubane indicates that there are two places still left on the Defibrillator Course which provides a two year certificate. The important Course takes place at Aubane Community Centre on Sat. 13th Feb. 2016 from 9.00 a.m. until 1.30 p.m..  Cost is €50.00.  If interested please contact John F. Talk on Food Intolerance in Aubane

On Tuesday 11th November at 8.00 pm at Aubane Community Centre. Therese from Lorisian will give a talk on Food Intolerance and people can be tested on the night. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome. We would also like to acknowledge that Reens Pharmacy Millstreet are sponsoring this night.

Very Successful Aubane Community Alert Meeting

A very important and successful meeting of Aubane Community Alert took place in Aubane Community Centre on Wednesday night. Chaired by Bernard Crowley with MC John F. Kelleher and Committee Member Donal Kelleher the large audience were introduced to two splendidly interesting Guest Speakers - Diarmuid from Muintir na Tíre and Garda John Crowley. Further people signed up to the texting alert service at the very reasonable cost of €10.00. As always in Aubane generous refreshments were provided at the conclusion of the excellent meeting. Further details of the value of this Community Alert Service will be shared as the service becomes a regular part of life in the Millstreet area...a superb development promoting an ever-increasing level of safety and security.
