A Wonderfully Busy Saturday in a Colourful Millstreet
Saturday, 15th Sept. 2018 truly was a very busy and exciting day in Millstreet which included the official welcome of our Breton Visitors from Pommerit le Vicomte who will be on holiday for the next week – While Tubrid Holy Well and Millstreet GAA Community Hall were the venues for the inspirational Faith and Light Group from all over Munster. Lots and lots of superbly colourful Cork Flags and window displays salute the splendidly talented Chloe Collins in advance of the All-Ireland in Croke Park on Sunday. dons the Cork jersey in Croke Park for the All-Ireland Senior Ladies
Football Final on next Sunday, 16th Sept. 2018.
The Community Council would also encourage businesses and householders in the town to put on a display of flags for Chloe on Sunday and for Cultural Night on Friday, 21st September.

Chloé was playing at #10, but on the day Cork where outclassed by Clare and lost on a scoreline of 1-9 to 1-4.

Chloé wins All Ireland Football Title with Cork
A huge congratulations to Chloé Collins and the Cork Ladies U16 ‘A’ Footballers who were crowned All Ireland Champions today in Templemore, Co. Tpperary after they beat Dublin on a scoreline of:

Chloé is a really fantastic player, and played with the Cork Camogie team this year also, but she was unfortunately injured for the final.
