Joanne of McCarthys Bar in Millstreet is holding a Coffee Morning/Afternoon in the Bar on this Saturday Morning February 8th from 10.30 am to 2.00 pm in aid of Millstreet Play Ground.
Everybody very Welcome to Attend.
Outstanding Turnout for Millstreet Vintage Club Charity Coffee Morning in aid of Marymount Hospice
Their was a great turnout earlier today at The Wallis Arms Hotel in Millstreet for the Millstreet Vintage Club Cars Coffee Chat Morning which was held in aid of Marymount Hospice. The Vintage Club would like to thank everybody that attended the event and for their fantastic support and generosity on the day.
Daniel Lane of Millstreet Vintage Club who coordinated the event was delighted with the turnout with in excess of 40 Vintage and Classic Cars/Bikes making the trip to Millstreet for what was a most enjoyable days proceedings. The Club would also like to thank Billy, Nigel, and all the Team at the Wallis Arms for all their help and for providing a great venue, and Daniel Lane also wishes to thank the Vintage Club Members and Friends who helped on both the lead up to the event and on the day itself. Also, many thanks to An Garda Síochána for their help and to the photographers and members of the local press who attended on the day to promote the proceedings for both Millstreet Vintage Club and Marymount Hospice.
A final figure from the Coffee Morning will be released soon which will be then presented by Millstreet Vintage Club to Marymount Hospice in the very near future.

‘Women hold up half the sky’ coffee morning – thank you
The Millstreet Community School TY Development Education group would like to thank everyone who came along to the coffee morning on 9th March to mark International Women’s Day. It proved to be a great opportunity to chat over a cup of tea/coffee and buns baked by the students about what life was like for women in Ireland over the years up to the present day. All agreed that it would be great if this type of gathering happened more often. (photo – Helen Moore)

Tea / Coffee Day in Rathcoole
Mary Buckley of Laught, Rathcoole, will be holding a Tea/Coffee Day again this year on the 1st May (Monday) from 10am until 6pm in her home. The proceeds of the day will go to the Mercy Hospital Foundation. Kettle on the boil all day long and plenty of home-baking.

Cake & Coffee in aid of Brú Colombanus
Cake sale & coffee morning /evening in aid of Brú Colombanus at Sugar Café & Restaurant Rathmore On Tuesday 11th of August from 9am to 12pm and 6pm to 8pm.
We are fundraising for Bru columbanus, to show our support for our colleague Katie Cremin. Brú Colombanus is an independent charity that provides “home from home” accommodation for relatives of seriously ill patients. It allows the Cremin family to be there with Katie and provide that friendly smile when ever she needs it.

Patricia Guerin Expresses Thanks for Successful Coffee Morning Support
Patricia Guerin who recently coordinated a very successful Coffee Morning for three very worthy causes – Church Restoration Fund, COPE Foundation and Millstreet Day Care Centre – would like to thank most sincerely all those who helped, those who baked for the occasion and those who provided baking as well as the very many people who attended the very enjoyable and social event in Millstreet GAA Community Hall.
