Well done to the children in Stepping Stones Preschool and the 6th class pupils of Dernagree National School who joined together and organised fun events to raise money for Cork’s 96 FM Radiothon. An amazing total of €1,115 was raised, which will support cancer services in the Cork area.
After an epic struggle and with goals galore, Derinagree National School emerged victorious with a goal to spare over a gallant St.Brendan’s Rathcoole National School, in the Rural Schools Football Finals, held today in Rathcoole. Well done to all the teams and organisers for an excellent competition.
Final score: Derinagree 5-8 Rathcoole 4-8

Our Special Guest of Honour will hoist the flag….. & guess what?……we have just received confirmation that THE ARMY BAND is BACK to help us raise the roof & celebrate in true Derinagree style!!
All are welcome. Do please keep June 23rd in mind. More details closer to the time.
