Duhallow GAA Online Family Bingo
DUHALLOW GAA ONLINE FAMILY BINGO
Clickety click, Duhallow GAA are teaming together with an Online Family Bingo on Saturday, May 9. From a €2000 prizefund, they are ten games, win/share €20 for a single line, win/share €40 for two lines and €100 for full house with a €400 Jackpot also to be won.
For each game, the numbers drawn will be displayed during the game to ensure transparency. When a player gets a check, they can unmute their microphone and let the bingo caller know.
The player displays their Bingo Card via the camera for all players to see, the check is also verified by the caller and a code on the players card is also checked.
Single books cost €10, double books at €15 each from GAA clubs or Duhallow Board officers.

Supreme Champions All on Friday in Newmarket
Sincere congratulations to the Sporting Champions of Scoil Mhuire, Millstreet B.N.S. and of Presentation N.S. who were both victorious in their Finals in Newmarket. Scoil Mhuire BNS in the Duhallow Schools Hurling – Millstreet 3 goals 9 points to Ballyhass 3 goals 5 points. Presentation N.S. in the Duhallow Schools Camogie A – Millstreet 5 goals 4 points to Rathcoole 5 goals 0 points. All the Finals took place in Newmarket on Friday, 8th June 2018. U16 Hurlers defeated in Duhallow League Final
Hard luck to the Millstreet U16 hurlers, who were defeated in the Duhallow U16 League Final where they were defeated by South Kerry 5-14 to 2-13, after extra time.

At the end of the first quarter, South Kerry was leading by two points thanks to some accurate shooting by Dave O’Connor and Kevin Sullivan. The teams then exchanged points and it remained level until Millstreet got a goal just before half-time, who then went ahead by 3 at half time 1-5 to 5 points.
In the second half the intensity remained but was trailing by 3 points in the last quarter until Anthony Keogh finally found the Millstreet net with five minutes remaining. Both teams exchanged further points and finished level which forced the game into extra time. At the end of normal time it finished 1-10 apiece.

U12 Hurlers win Duhallow Championship
Millstreet swept to an exciting victory over Kanturk in the Duhallow U12 Hurling Championship Final played in Meelin. From a high scoring contest, Millstreet claimed a 7-8 to 57 triumph. Credit Millstreet for playing some snappy hurling where there was much to admire on the stickwork and energy of Millstreet’s effort throughout the field.
Opponents Kanturk contributed to a marvellous encounter yet at the end of the hour, they weren’t good enough to get the measure of the Millstreet’s superior challenge.
Scoringwise Thomas Walsh led the Millstreet attack with a hat trick of goals. Further enhanced on Danny Buckley, Shauna O’Sullivan, Darren Kiely and Maura Ellen O’Connor adding additional green flags. The Millstreet team lined out as Tim Healy, Lydia O’Reilly, Lyann O’Reilly, Jamie O’Connor, Patrick Dineen, Sean Og O’Connor, Billy Cronin, Eric Barrett, Thomas Walsh, Shane Hickey, Cathal Crowley, Maura Ellen O’Connor, Shauna O’Sullivan, Darren Kiely, Danny Buckley. Figuring amongst the substitutes were James A Linehan, Alex Lee, Danny O’Callaghan, Dylan O’Leary, Bill Kelleher, Colm O’Leary, Con Lane, Andrew O’Regan and Rachel O’Brien.
