Millstreet Mass of Remembrance Tonight at St. Patrick’s Church

Special Candles of Remembrance (each indivually inscribed with the name of the person who would have passed to their Eternal Reward ove the past year) are now in place by Parish Secretary, Sharon Lane, in advance of the 6.30pm Mass of Remembrance this evening.   Forty-five names are remembered in the very beautiful November Garden.   The design of the graphic display is by Declan Crowley of Milltech.  Care of the Garden by Sharon, Julie and Canon John. Medjugorje Mass in Tralee Remembering Fr. Slavko on Monday at 7.30pm

Breda King has alerted us to the celebration of a Mass of Remembrance on the Anniversary of Fr. Slavko (Medjugorje) on this Monday night at 7.30 with Rosary beforehand and Adoration afterwards in the Bonsecours Chapel, Tralee.  (S.R.)

St. Johns’ Day – Mass and a Dance on Mushera

2014-06-24 St.John's Well Mass reminderMass will be celebrated at St John’s Well Mushera tomorrow night being the 24th June 2014 which is the feast of St John’s the baptist. It starts at 8.00 pm and the weather forecast is sunny with temps of 21 Degrees…

After mass the neighbouring parish Ballinagree will host a platform Dance just down the road at 9.00 pm til 11.00 pm to live music by Jerome Coakley…It is along time ago since a dance was held at this platform after the mass at St John’s Well. Well Done to Ballinagree in organising this…-(John F. Kelleher – Aubane FB) … and the weather promises to be good 🙂

Also, this is bonfire night, so expect to see some bonfires on this lovely summer evening.

Fr. Paddy O’Byrne Celebrates Mass at Tubrid on Thursday Evening

Blessed with superb weather Fr. Paddy O'Byrne celebrated Mass on this Thursday evening, 19th June 2014 on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood.  Fr. Paddy very especially remembered his late brother, Bernie, recently deceased during the Mass.   Bernie and the O'Byrne Family regard Tubrid Holy Well as one of the most tranquil and beautiful setting one could experience.  Click on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)

Due to Weather – Cemetery Mass to be Celebrated in Church

The celebration of Mass scheduled to take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery this Friday evening will now be held in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet at 8pm due to weather conditions.   We thank Sharon Lane and Canon John Fitzgerald, P.P. for this important update.    (S.R.)

Annual Tubrid Mass – Next Friday Night at 8 – 30th May 2014

Blessed with excellent weather the recent celebration of Mass at St. Mary's Cemetery, Millstreet was very well attended.   Millstreet Pipe Band also attended.  People travelled from quite a distance for the Mass which was celebrated by Canon John Ftizgerald, P.P. and Fr. Seán Tucker.  (S.R.)

Tubrid Mass Celebrated by Fr. Kevin For Examination Students
