Millstreet Active Retirement Association at Tubrid on Monday Morning
Blessed with splendid summery weather Millstreet Active Retirement Association attended its annual May Rosary Event at Tubrid Holy Well on Monday at 11:00 a.m. (7th May 2018). Some of the beautiful hymns sung will feature on tonight’s “Radio Treasures” on www.corkmusicstation.com (at 10:00 p.m.) … And also included in tonight’s programme – a feature on Sunday’s Mass at The City near Shrone. Magnificent Banner Presented to Millstreet A.R.A.
On Friday night (29th Sept. 2017) at Millstreet Parish Centre following the annual Mass of Millstreet Active Retirement Association in St. Patrick’s Church – the Creedon Family of Laught, Rathcoole presented a truly magnificent Banner to the Association in honour of their late mother – Nora Creedon – who was such a highly esteemed and wonderfully loyal member of Millstreet A.R.A. for many years. Here we share a selection of images from the very special historic occasion. During the provision of refreshments in the Parish Centre the impressive gathering was entertained with a marvellous story superbly delivered by All-Ireland award winning Diarmuid Cronin (grandson of Nora) introduced by A.R.A.
