Congratulations to our Duarigle Gaels Minor team and management who won the Non-Exam League Final last night in Cill na Matra with a 2-10 to 1-9 victory over Agninagh (ht: 1-4 to 0-4). All the sweeter as Aghinagh had beaten us a week earlier in the league. (photo Duarigle Gaels Keale Gaels)

Millstreet / Duarigle Gaels Juvenile GAA Victory Social at Wallis Arms – Part 1

Recently at the Wallis Arms Hotel on two separate nights Millstreet / Duarigle Gaels Juvenile GAA celebrated with a superb Victory Social – on the Friday night with the younger members and on the Saturday night with the more senior players.  Here we share images from the first occasion where Sportsman Supreme, Kevin Crowley was the Guest of Honour who presented the wonderfully successful players with their medals.  The Disco which followed the meal, presentation and speeches – with very popular D.J. A very wet but happy Duarigle Gaels team after defeating Fermoy on Sunday evening in the Rebel Óg Towhig’s SuperValu Kanturk Under 12 2A football league final by 1-9 to 2-5 in a brilliant hard fought match. Cúl Camp and Gear Fittings

2016-06-02 Duarigle Gaels - logoCúl Camp registrations will be taken on Friday 3rd (tomorrow) at 7.30pm in the GAA Hall.

Cúl Camp runs from 18th-22nd July and is open to players from 6-13. €55 for first child, €45 for 2nd, €40 for subsequent children. You may also register online at GAA.ie/kelloggsculcamps.

Gear Fitting on Friday 3rd at 7.30pm in the GAA Hall. Orders will be taken for club gear. Training T-Shirts also now available to order.

Juvenile GAA Cups – this Sunday

2014-10-25 Millstreet GAA - crest logoMillstreet Juvenile GAA will host the annual Connie Kelleher, Tommy O’Connor & Alan O’Connor (R.I.P.) Perpetual Cups Tournament this  Sunday 11th at 12.30p.m. in the Park.
U8 & U10’s will play Football, while U12’s will play Hurling. Players to be in the park for 12p.m.

Please note there are currently weather warnings in place. Should this need to be rescheduled it will be held on the following Sunday 18th.

Cul Camp/ Gear Fitting Night

gaa-cul-camps-logoApplications are now being taken for Coaching and Assistant Coaching positions for Millstreet’s Cúl Camp. Camp will run from 20-24th July.
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age for Assistant positions and 18 years old for Coaching positions and have a minimum of a foundation course completed. Forms will be available for collection from the GAA Hall kitchen tomorrow Friday 29th from 7-8p.m

A Gear Fitting night will take place on Wednesday 3rd June in the GAA Hall from 7-8p.m.

Anyone not applying on-line who wishes to book a child’s place for Cúl Camp can register them in the GAA Hall next Wednesday 3rd June from 7-8p.m.

GAA ‘Foundation Course’ in Coaching

Millstreet Juvenille GAA are running a ‘Foundation Course‘ in Millstreet GAA Hall on Friday 6th & Sat 7th February (2 day course).

The ‘Foundation Course’  is a basic level coaching course in both hurling and football. Parents that help out or wish to help out at underage training are encouraged to complete the course. The course is also open to members of the Camogie Club. Total cost is €20 per person. spaces available !

Anyone that is interested is asked to contact the Juvenile GAA Club asap on 087-9533213.

Juvenile GAA Social

Millstreet Juvenile GAA Social will take place on the 9th January in the Wallis Arms Hotel.

Our u15 footballers will receive medals for winning the u15 championship and our u6, u7 and u8 players will receive medals for their commitment and great success throughout the year.

Our local cork hero Mark Ellis will also be in our presence.

Tickets will go on sale this Tues 30th from 7-8pm in the gaa hall. €10 for adult ticket. €5 for children’s ticket.

Foundation and Award One GAA Coaching Courses

Foundation and Award One GAA Coaching Courses will take place as indicated below. Places are limited, anyone interested is advised to contact the Millstreet Juvenile GAA Secretary on 087-9533213. Anyone that has recently completed the online theory of the foundation course only have to attend for one day of the two day foundation course in Millstreet. Contact the club secretary for further info.

‘Foundation Course’ in Millstreet GAA (2 day course) on Friday 6th February @ 8pm & Sat 7th February from 11-2pm. Total cost €20 per person.

‘Award One Course’ in Mallow GAA (4 day course) on Friday 9th January 2015 7.30-9.30pm (Meeting room)
