“Over the 4 nights 6-9 August, Fleadh2020, will capture the essence of this annual event on TG 4.
They recorded it in Mullingar three weeks ago & the Crossfields Band which includes local Musicians Darragh Twomey, Marie O’Neill, Diarmuid Cronin, Leah Murphy & Anna Buckley are on tonight Thurs., 6th Aug. 2020 9.30pm so might be a bit of craic to watch!”

Diarmuid Cronin of Laught, Rathcoole – One of the many wonderfully talented local Musicians to appear in the upcoming Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann transmissions this week on TG4.

“Singalongers Supreme” Hold First Very Successful Get Together

At Millstreet Day Care Centre the very first get together of “Singalongers Supreme” was held on Wednesday, 23rd Oct. 2019 at 7:30pm organised by Helen, Patricia, Angela and Danny assisted also by Petra and Marie.   All agreed that it was a wonderful success.   All were delighted to be joined by outstanding singers Joe and Ciara Guerin and by musician Miriam O’Sullivan.   We were even joined by Andrias Guerin through facetime live from the UK rendering a great rendition of “James Connolly”.   Here we share some eleven images from the most enjoyable occasion where refreshments were also provided.  Tap on the pictures to enlarge.  (S.R.) Millstreet Gramophone Circle at Millstreet Day Care Centre takes place on Friday, 27th September at 8.15pm with Presenter Maurice Linehan of Liscahane, Millstreet.

A Magnificent Five-in-a-Row for “Crossfields” Céilí Band

Pictured below is the superbly talented U18 Crossfields Céilí Band after their splendid win in Drogheda at the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann on Sunday, 18th August 2019…Hugely thrilled!  🙂  Local members of this Band are Marie O’Neill, Darragh Twomey, Anna Buckley & Leah Murphy.  Our picture also includes Alan Finn, Coach supreme.
