After last night’s intense thunderstorms which shook the buildings around here, a number of dogs have been scared off. Over 200 houses are without power this morning – in a line from Cloghoula to Clonbanin.

Found Straying in the Ballydaly Area: medium sized white and brown spaniel (like a gun dog). Was up the school road area yesterday around 6pm, now in John A O’Sullivan car Dismantlers yard. Very cautious, won’t come for food.

Update (Dec 28th) He was found this afternoon and was taken back home 🙂

Update (Dec 23rd) The owner has spotted him this morning but it seems he is very scared and ran off again. Another sighting this evening by the grotto!”. He’s being spotteded every day (Liscahane Rd, Mullaghanish, the Grotto…), if anyone sees him please contact Rose as the owner is up and down everyday from Bishopstown to look for him and try and catch him!

Hi, this dog was lost on Sunday evening the 11th of December.

He is extremely missed by his owner who has searched for him in the area of Mullaghanish where he went missing! It would be great if we could reunite them for Xmas!

Update (2nd July): Snip has been located

Yesterday morning Snip was taken out for a walk, but he ran off and didn’t return. This isn’t like him he always returns but he’s quite old 15/16 so we’re worried he’s hurt himself. He was last seen back the Coolikerane near Dooneen and we heard him Barking but can’t find him. Any help would be great 0873914627.

Update: he’s back at home already only a few hours later 🙂

We found this female dog on Mt. Hillary yesterday, 15th November, miles from any house. She has a blue collar.

We made enquiries in the area and left a phone number and also called to the pub in Banteer, to no avail.

Would anyone recognise her in the photo (right), so we can reunite the dog with her owner.
