Wonderfully Successful National Schools Quiz at GAA Hall

Sincere thanks to all the parents and pupils of all the schools who took part, the Correcting Team from Millstreet PNS, John Tarrant quizmaster, Parents helpers on the night, and Seán Radley for photographs.
We had 160 pupils and a very enjoyable night.

Cookery, Science & Art Wonderfully Explored at Cloghoula N.S.

Cloghoula N.S. are delighted to have been selected as one of only fifty schools in Ireland to take part in the new primary schools Cooking All Stars programme with SuperValu. All pupils have enjoyed cooking and eating the healthy, nutritious recipes.  Click on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)

During Science Week, an ecological expert introduced the pupils to a wide
range of wild Irish animals, including live mice and voles.

All pupils have designed and are having their own unique Christmas card
printed in time for Christmas.

Retirement Reception for Hannah Kelleher in Cullen

We’re presently preparing a full feature on the special Mass and wonderful Reception for Hannah Kelleher who after fourteen years of dedication is retiring  from Cullen N.S. where she has been Principal since 2004.  We wish Hannah every happiness in her richly deserved retirement as she embarks on a new phase in life.   Lots more pictures to follow in coming days.  Click on the image below to enlarge.  (S.R.)

Wonderfully Welcoming Open Day 2018 at Cloghoula N.S.

On Wednesday, 25th April 2018 Cloghoula N.S. held a superbly welcoming Open Day which was so enjoyed by its new Entrants (three of whom we feature here – Donnacha, Evan and Kayden).  It was truly inspiring to note how the established Pupils at the school were so wonderfully caring, helpful and supportive to the new Entrants.  The entire Staff created an uplifting cheerful atmosphere for the Entrants who were experiencing Primary Education for their very first time.  Here we meet some of the new Entrants enthusiastically participating in the many creative activities.  We share a selection of images to give an insight into the educational happening.   Click on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)
