Wonderful School Photo of the 1940s

We thank Eily Buckley not only for the wonderfully historic School Photo of the 1940s but also its very comprehensive caption.   The photo features Eily’s late sister, Mary who was also known as Sr. Rupert, a Presentation Sister who was especially renowned in her role as Choir Coordinator supreme in the very beautiful St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney.  This photo is sure to evoke special memories for many.   It was taken in the playground of Millstreet’s Presentation N.S..  Tap on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)
