The RTÉ Archives have recently added a new video titled “Industry in Millstreet 1987“. It was a dark time for the town after Apple Computers had left Millstreet in 1985, leaving us with high unemployment, and the Community Council were trying to encourage businesses back into Millstreet. There are interviews with the late Ken Brennan and Sgt. Seán O’Sullivan, as well as clips from around town. Click here to watch the video. Death Notice: Seán O’Sullivan, retired Garda Seargent, Millstreet

The death has occurred on Friday 18th December 2015 of Seán O’Sullivan, Kilbrean House, Kilbrean More, Killarney, and retired Garda Seargent, Millstreet. Beloved husband of Rosemary and loving father of Claudine, David, Bryan, Damien and Caragh. Very sadly missed and dearly loved by his family, daughters-in-law Patricia & Ruth, son-in-law Declan, grandchildren Adam, Jack, Cathal, David, Evie, Amelia and Ethan, sisters Joan, Una, Mary, Vera and Carmel, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many great friends. “May He Rest In Peace”

Reposing at his family home on Sunday evening from 2.00pm to 6.00 pm. Removal at 6.00 pm on Sunday evening to St Mary’s Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 10.30am, burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery, Killarney. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired to Palliative Care.
