Duhallows Fittest GAA Club
Fundraising event in aid of ICRR Rathcoole Air Ambulance, Kanturk and Millstreet Community Hospitals and The Burren Chernobyl Project.
As you are aware a number of GAA clubs have been using this time to raise funds for various charities while also getting some running in.
So over the past week both Kiskeam and Ballydesmond GAA clubs have decided to do our bit to help raise vital funds for our hospitals in Duhallow.
We see this as a great opportunity for our players to give something back to the community while also giving a sense of purpose to their running as they wait to get back on the playing fields. [read more …] “Duhallows Fittest GAA Club”

Team Coach supreme, Jimmy Murphy, shares the following uplifting facts about the wonderfully successful St. John’s GAA Club (with Players from Aubane, Mushera, Millstreet, Kilcorney and beyond) especially after being victorious in the recent Final played at Ovens:
“A truly wonderful Team but also a truly unique Team. Four families of brothers and two O’Keeffes – Denis and Paddy. The Sheahans Tom and Adrian. The Kellehers Brian and Denis. The Corkerys Donal, Neil and Paudie. Also Dave Barrett – son of Selector, John Barrett. Dave is Uncle to Eric and Eoin. But most unique of all must be Father and Son – Huey and Kevin Sheahan.
