Music at The Pub in Carriganima planned for next Sunday Evening March 15 has now been Cancelled

FOLLOWING THE ANNOUNCEMENT EARLIER TODAY REGARDING COVID 19 RESTRICTIONS AND IN THE INTEREST OF THE SAFETY OF OUR CUSTOMERS AND THE PUBLIC THE MUSIC AT THE PUB IN CARRIGANIMA PLANNED FOR NEXT SUNDAY EVENING MARCH 15TH WITH MICHELLE MURPHY HAS BEEN CANCELLED,WE WILL RE SCHEDULE THIS EVENT AT A FUTURE DATE. WE APOLOGISE FOR THIS AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND SUPPORT.

The Saint Patricks Day Parade due to take place in Carriganima on Sunday next March 15th has now been cancelled due to the Coronavirus situation in the Country at the Moment,we apologise to Everyone who was looking forward to the Parade but we will be back with a Parade in 2021.

There is still Music to be enjoyed in the Pub on next Sunday Evening March 15th between 8pm and 10pm with the fabulous and upcoming Country and Western Star Michelle Murphy who is back in Carriganima by popular demand following her recent appearance at the Pub back in January,we look forward to seeing you all there.

Entertainer TR Dallas who was due to play at The Pub in Carriganima next Friday night Sept 20th has CANCELLED his night there due to a Family Bereavement. It will be re-scheduled at a future Date. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Millstreet Vintage Club upcoming Events

Following on from Millstreet Vintage Clubs first ever Weekend Away/Car Run to West Cork/ Bantry held over the past Weekend the Club have a number of important Events happening in December and into the New Year listed below.

Millstreet Vintage Club Christmas Party on Saturday Night Dec 8th at Corkerys Bar in Millstreet, Kicks Off from 9pm. Everybody Welcome.

Presentation of the Proceeds from the Recent Tractor Run for CART organised by Millstreet Vintage Club will be held at the Pub in Carriganima on Saturday December 15th at 9pm Refreshments will be served,Everybody Welcome.

Millstreet Vintage Club Annual AGM will take place on Thursday 10th January 2019 in the Millstreet Parish Centre at 8.00pm sharp. All Club Members please Attend and anyone out there interested in Vintage/Classic Cars/Bikes and Tractors are more than welcome to come along to the Meeting and join our Club.

St. John’s G.A.A. Club’s Magnificent Win This Weekend

Sincere congratulations to Aubane’s St. John’s G.A.A. Club’s truly magnificent win in the Junior B Football Championship on Saturday night in Millstreet Town Park.  The very popular Club has members from not just Aubane and Mushera but well beyond. At the Club’s Annual Church gate Collection over the weekend not just one but two superb Cups were proudly displayed.  Trainer Jimmy Murphy had a very busy schedule on Saturday night as he made it in time following the successful outcome in the important match to be present at “The Pub” in Carriganima to present substantial cheques to both Millstreet and Macroom Hospitals (fuller pictorial report on that event later) as a result of the Annual Fun Run in Carriganima.  Since this event began a most impressive €13,000.00 has been presented to assist fundraising in the hospitals.  Here we share some 11 images from the uplifting weekend.  Click on the pictures to enlarge.  (S.R.) Millstreet Vintage Club supports Carriganima’s CART

A big thanks to the Millstreet Vintage Club on presenting the €1,300.99 proceeds of their Autumn Tractor Run to the Carriganima based CART Rural Transport Service Bus. Perfect weather conditions added to the enjoyment of the day, close on 70 tractors took to the road over scenic terrain to Moll Carthys Bridge for a short halt before returning to Carriganima Pub for a Barbeque and refreshments.

Co-inciding with the formal presentation was a Coffee Evening and a heat of the Millstreet Community Council Talent Competition.

Meanwhile Millstreet Vintage Club Celebration of 100 Years of Ford in Ireland reaches a climax on this Sunday with a History of the Ford Motor Company and Ford Family Film Show in the Wallis Arms Hotel starting at 3 pm.

On the progamme are interesting guest speakers and patrons are welcome to bring along their Vintage / Classic Ford Vehicle and park their prized possessions outside the Hotel in the Town Square in Millstreet.

Cork Music Station Presenters’ Annual Get Together in Carriganima

This Saturday night (5th Nov. 2016) at “The Pub” in Carriganima many of the weekly Presenters of Cork Music Station will assemble at its annual Get Together for an evening of chat, song and music.   It’s a real opportunity to meet with the very popular Online Radio Station’s dedicated personnel.   Everyone is very welcome.  (S.R.)

Two very impressive cheques of €1050.00 were presented to Millstreet and Macroom Community Hospitals at "The Pub" in Carriganima on Saturday, 8th Oct. 2016 - the wonderfully fruitful result of the fourth annual Walk/Run/Jog held recently which was officially started by Cork Rose, Denise Collins and Liam Roche. It is Jimmy Murphy (pictured below) and his superb Committee must take great credit for organising such a splendid praiseworthy event which is becoming an annual Autumn tradition in Carriganima. Royal Welcome for Santa in Carriganima As He Arrives by CART Bus

Tonight (12th Dec. 2015) at The Pub in Carriganima the annual "Fuel the Pub" event takes place where customers are given a free drink in return for helping to fuel the Pub by bringing turf, timber or even offer to fill the oil tank.
