Consider it Cakes

I live in Broadford Co. Limerick and occasionally bake cakes for a charity called ‘Consider it Cakes’. This charity provides birthday cakes for people living in direct provision or emergency accommodation. They received a request for a cake for a 3 year old little girl living in the Drishane Castle direct provision centre in Millstreet, for delivery on March 28th. I will provide the cake, but just wondering if there would be someone able to help out with delivery. Maybe someone living in Millstreet working in Kanturk or near to Broadford, that I can meet and who can deliver the cake for me. Many thanks in advance for your help!

Eily’s Report – 1st March

The weather changes so fast, one minute the elements are taking it out on our buildings and trees and countryside, next the sun is shining warm and calm and so inviting. A trip outside be it long or short can brighten your day. Gardens, God love them are bearing up to the changes of the weather. The camellias, the flowering currents, the Mahony are ready for the off, while underneath the bluebells and daffs are also full of promise, encouraging us to follow in their lead, and fill ourselves and those around us with plans and hopes to the coming months.
